Throughout my graduate career, I have created notable pieces of research that have helped shape what I value in museums and how my research can create new avenues of museum practice! Below are a few important pieces I have written through my graduate program that exemplify my research interests and writing prowess.

This paper, written for the class Museums, Health, and Wellbeing, delved into the idea that museum are the perfect places for Trans empathy building. By creating resources to make museums more welcome places for trans visitors, staff, and volunteers, they can lead the charge for trans empathy and equity for a part of the LGBTQ+ community.

In this paper, written for the class Anthropology and Dark Heritage, I sought to examine the presentation of the dark history of Auschwitz-Birkenau through their website.

By critically analyzing their website, researching digital memory, and even interviewing a professional of WWII and Nazi art theft, I examine the digital footprint that Auschwitz-Birkenau has left on the world.

In Spring of 2020, I was in a class titled "Museums & Digitization." The course was built on how to pursue museum practice within a digital landscape. This was also when the COVID-19 pandemic was beginning and our final project was to create mock digital experiences for a museum of our choice. I chose to create mock programs for the Boston Children's Museum. By using my expertise in children's museum programming and their unique experiences, I proposed five unique programs the Boston Children's Museum could utilize using social media platforms during the COVID-19 pandemic for continuing digital engagement.

In my introductory class for the Museum Studies program, I found that I had a drive for queer activism in cultural institutions. This led to me writing my final research paper on Indianapolis' cultural landscape as it applies to LGBTQ+ history, activism, and presence in the community and how it compares to other notable cities with very visible LGBTQ+ communities.
